Accessibility

A website for everyone...

My commitment to accessibility is integral to everything I do. In designing this website, I incorporated higher-contrast color schemes and larger screen elements to accommodate individuals with low vision. Throughout all phases of development and testing, a screen reader and magnifier were used to ensure full compatibility with accessibility tools. This site automatically detects whether you are using a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer, and adjusts accordingly.

For individuals with low vision, magnifiers work well with this site because screen elements are rendered in larger sizes. This allows you to reduce the magnification level, increasing the visible area on your screen and reducing distortion and pixelation from higher magnification. The high-contrast colors make items easier to discern and read, and the site renders beautifully when using a color inversion filter.

For screen readers, all site elements have meaningful and intuitive names. Images are described and used only where necessary. Navigation is facilitated through extensive use of hyperlinks, and the layout of each page is consistent and logical.

If there is anything I can improve, please let me know.
